Civic body to bank on AI to boost Mumbai's road safety

To ensure that Mumbai's roads are free of potholes and to prevent accidents, the BMC is planning to transition from conventional monitoring and maintenance methods to advanced technology solutions based on LiDAR and AI-ML (artificial intelligence & machine learning).
