Measles in Mumbai: Death toll rises to 18

Even as the BMC scaled up its measles vaccination programme by reaching out to homeless children, a nine-year-old boy from Byculla's Madanpura locality became the latest victim of the ongoing outbreak in the city. He is 18th victim to pass away in a Mumbai hospital since September, when the measles outbreak was first noticed in Govandi.
