The Centre's fourth Performance Grading Index (PGI) that measures transformational change in school education has placed Maharashtra on top along with Kerala and Punjab. Educationists, though, have questioned the credibility of the 2020-21 results for not considering digital education when the entire academic session was online due to Covid.
