Maha govt rejects report, clears Deven Bharti

The Maharashtra government recently rejected an inquiry report that found substance in allegations that IPS officer Deven Bharti had links with the underworld. The inquiry was conducted by IPS officer Sanjay Pandey during his stint as DG, Home Guards.
