Declare 'dahi handi' a sport, MLA urges CM

Sarnaik made the appeal while announcing his dahi handi festival celebrations called Pro Govinda 2022 this year that will see a whopping prize of RS 21 lakhs for the troupe that breaks the previous record of nine tiers. It may be recalled a Jogeshwari group of govindas had formed a nine tier pyramid at Sarnaik’s dahi handi celebrations few years back which is still to be beaten.
