No Wednesday bump in Mumbai Covid cases

In keeping with the Wednesday effect when the week's highest caseload is registered, the state recorded 43,697 cases on Wednesday, an 11.5% rise in the last 24 hours. In contrast, Mumbai's daily detection reported a 2% decline - 6,032 cases against the 6,149 reported on Tuesday.
