12 thefts, 2 rapes a day: Mum crimes up 27% in '21

With pandemic restrictions being eased in phases, crime cases in Mumbai rose nearly 27% to 64,656 last year as compared to 2020. Two rape and as many robbery cases were reported daily, while there were an average 12 thefts and nearly 5 house break-ins a day.
