Mumbai: Rain likely to dampen Diwali weekend

The rain gods seem set to celebrate the festival of Diwali with Mumbaikars this year. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a 'yellow alert' forecasting heavy rains at isolated places on the weekend of October 26-27. For adjoining areas like Thane and Palghar, rain along with thunder has been predicted.
