Thane jail to get 2cr for inmates to weave yarn

Soon, you will get to wear shirts and sarees woven at Thane Central Jail by prisoners. The Maharashtra State Jail Corporation will give the jail Rs 2 crore to set up a state-of-the-art powerloom complex on its 45-acre premises. All weavers will be prisoners: convicts as well as undertrials.
