Rain may arrive in Mumbai in a day or two

The Mumbaikars are likely to witness rain in the next 48 hours in the city, predicts Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). After a hot and humid weekend, steady showers were recorded across the city and its neighbouring areas such as Thane and parts of Navi Mumbai in the morning, accompanied by loud thunder around noon.
