Kandivli chowk named after 150-year-old church

Sunday was a proud moment for the parishioners of a 157-year-old church in Kandivli. The neighbourhood junction was named Assumption Chowk after Our Lady of Assumption Church. The labour of love took four years to accomplish. The ceremony was attended by other priests and members of the Bombay Catholic Sabha which had led the initiative.
